These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Pinwise iOS application ("the App"), operated by the developer of Pinwise ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
Pinwise is a logging and organization tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or dosing instructions, and it is not a medical device. Nothing in the App — including reminders, calculations, charts, and output of the AI advisor — is a recommendation to take, change, start, or stop any substance or therapy.
All health decisions are yours and your qualified healthcare professional's alone. Always consult a licensed clinician before making any decision about medications, supplements, peptides, hormones, or any other substance.
The AI advisor feature transmits information you have logged to a third-party artificial intelligence provider that you select and authenticate with your own API key. You acknowledge that:
(a) AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inapplicable to you, and is provided for organizational and informational purposes only; (b) you review and explicitly confirm any change before it is applied to your records; (c) your use of an AI provider is subject to that provider's own terms and policies, and you are responsible for your account and key with that provider; and (d) we do not operate, control, or guarantee any AI provider's availability, output, or data handling.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you log, for the security of your device, Apple ID, and API keys, and for using the App in compliance with all laws applicable to you. The App does not verify the legality, authenticity, safety, or suitability of any substance you choose to track.
Pinwise offers auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly and annual, the annual including a free trial where available) and a one-time lifetime unlock, all processed by Apple through your App Store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies. Prices may change; changes apply only prospectively and, for existing subscribers, only as permitted by Apple's rules.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's usage rules. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law.
The App, its design, and the Pinwise name and branding are our property and are protected by intellectual-property law, including a pending United States trademark application for PINWISE. These Terms grant you no rights in our trademarks.
Your data is stored on your device and in your private iCloud as described in our Privacy Policy. You own the information you log. Because we hold no copy of your data, exporting and safeguarding it (including maintaining iCloud backups) is in your control.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA (INCLUDING REMINDERS AND SYNC) WILL BE TIMELY, ACCURATE, OR LOSS-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, HEALTH OUTCOME, OR LOSS OF DATA ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, THE AI ADVISOR, OR ANY DECISION YOU MAKE IN CONNECTION WITH INFORMATION SHOWN IN THE APP. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, these limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate the App or these Terms if you breach them or where required by law. Sections 2, 3, and 7–11 survive termination.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date and, where appropriate, noted in the App's release notes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes shall be resolved in the courts located there.
